Eleni Katsoula-Koroneou was born and raised in Athens.
She studied drawing and painting in studio workshops and private self-study.
She attended for two years (10/15/1980 to 06/15/1981 and 10/15/1981 to 06/15/1982) lessons in the section 'Batik' of the Educational School of Christian Youth Association (CH.E.N.).
Her teacher was Mrs Sonia Mitrolia.
She draws her inspiration from a wide variety of topics, either mythology or everyday life. Many of her creations have a naturalistic character. Generally she uses expressionistic colors in some of her works, folklore elements and rarely surreallistic ones.
